Lifting Up A Local During Pink October

At Central Oregon Disaster Restoration, we’ve always believed in giving back to our community, and October has long been a time to rally for a cause that’s close to many hearts: breast cancer awareness. For years, we’ve proudly contributed a percentage of our revenue to breast cancer research during Pink October.  Following Pink October 2023 we donated $5,000 to METAvivor, a nonprofit dedicated to the specific fight of women and men living with state 4 metastatic breast cancer.  This year, we’re trying something different—something more personal.

We’re excited to announce for Pink October 2024 CODR is shifting its focus to help a Central Oregonian directly. Instead of donating to national organizations, we want to support someone in Central Oregon who is currently battling breast cancer. We recognize such a financial burden can be overwhelming and want to help ease the strain during this challenging time.

Do you know someone in our community who is bravely facing breast cancer and could use some extra support? We are opening up nominations for the community to recommend someone in need. This could be a friend, a neighbor, or even a family member. Our goal is to lift up a local fighting this battle by providing financial assistance through our Pink October giving project. 

How You Can Help:

• Nominate a Local in Need: If you know of someone in Central Oregon currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer who could benefit from our assistance, please nominate them. We want to hear their story.
